Hey guys. Long story short, I've completely given up on any hope I had of repainting my X-Wing ships myself. Don't tell me I need practice, or that I need to do X or Y; I just can't freaking do it. They're just too damn small and fiddly for me. I've stripped the paint off of them, so going back isn't an option; thus I'm here looking for someone who'd be willing to do a decent job without costing an arm and a leg. I don't need painting competition quality - just a decent tabletop standard. I can't afford much in the way of money, but I have various models, paints, memorabilia, etc. I'd be willing to trade for the work. A quick run-down of my Rebel fleet:

2 A-Wings (waiting on a replacement one from FFG, the blasters broke off)
2 B-Wings (both converted to fly sideways, one of them with custom/additional blaster barrels)
1 E-Wing (my personal favorite ship in the fleet)
2 X-Wings
1 Z-95
1 Custom Y-TIE

OPTIONAL:
1 YT-1300 (Waiting on a replacement as well, multiple flaws with the current model)
1 YT-2400

Here's a few examples of what I was going for; the orange could be swapped out for a shade of green like Loren Forest or Straken Green.

And examples of the alternate white/green:

I'd be willing to give it a try! I'm kind of on a Star Wars kick at the moment having done a couple of large scale TIEs, and I think I'm capable of doing what you're looking for.

My commission rates for these would probably be around £5 a model, as they're less involved than a standard 28mm mini, but I'm open to trade/part payment, part trade, so PM me if you're interested.

If you hadn't stripped them I might have been willing to give them a go. The factory schemes, besides being stupidly good IMO, serve as a great basecoat for further paintwork and modification, especially since the paints they are using are being done in superthin layers (I suspect that they have an industrial scale airbrushing operation going on).

Well, chaos, I made sure to get the paint out of the nooks and crannies and such - so they're super-clean by the time I'm done with them, and failed paintjobs get a nice long bath in purple power. Got any examples of your stuff?

Right, I want to think anyone who's even read this topic. However, I think I may have finally broken out of my funk - and I may be able to finally do this on my own. If it fails, though, I'll keep you guys in mind.
