So 101 S6 shots a turn most of which are pseudo rending some are just Ap2 all the time and 12 get rerolls to wound Wraithfighters bust Bunkers and the like. My biggest concern is Imperial Knight spamand CC Deathstars. What do you think?

Would you not want an autarch for that many reserve rolls?, I know you are taking a windrider host but if you go second and someone drops in turn 1, you may get run off the board. That seems to be the only thing I would worry about. And I think you would need your hemlocks to come in to help get rid of any heavily armed AV13/14.

Where do I find points for an Autarch? What do I drop?

True, I do deploy my warpspiders most of the time, It is just fun to deep strike them in peoples backfield.

You could drop the hemlocks to crimson hunters, or just drop it down to 1, that would free up 90 points. I have only seen people use hemlocks when they are doing psy shenanagins, so dont know how well they play by themselves. Also they cannot do anti air correct? Since they shoot blast templates.

They can still smack down FMC's at an alarming rate.

They can do over FMCs which is the main AA you need. They also have Psychic Shriek which helps against Invisibility. However their main purpose is helping against high AV like Knights and fortifications.

Yeah very very strong list;
- 2 warfighters is the magic number, since 1 doesn't get it points back due scatters and the distortion scythe rule from people tell me.
- warp spiders are brilliant, especially in MSU form

Have you considered 4 units of warp spiders and 2 units of dark reapers, ap3 ignore jink for anti scatbikes?

I don't like Reapers too many points for their value. If they were Ap2 I'd take them just to help vs ThunderKnightstar but scat bikes go down easily enough without having to resort to Reapers (3 reapers kills 3.3 scatbikes vs 2.5 from the Spider units for essentially the same cost. Where the Spiders have the mobility and better firepower vs other targets).

Why a war host with this list?

For the guaranteed 6" vs a rerollable d6 you prefer the vyper tax, a solo lock and no obsec? I don't like the trade off for some icing on the jump pack cake, I think it's less benefit than harm. I'd rather purchase the lock for a jetbike squad and join the farseer to it than the warhost method.

I'm not getting value from ObSec in a CAD with this list. The vyper isn't too bad and I like the Warlock as extra dice and another throw away unit if necessary.

The way I roll yes I want that guaranteed 6. Plus I get the reroll bladestorm for a turn on the bigger unit of Bikes.

I will admit this is one of the better applications of the TaxHost formation, but I'm still having serious reservations about getting behind it. I'd rather see a swap CAD, drop Jetlock/Vyper in exchange for a second HQ of your own flavor. Jetseer if you're gunning shenanigans, Autarch if you want reserves.

Your reasoning is solid enough if you've been disappointed by fleet/battle focus, but it just seems statistically bizarre.

I rarely get more than 4 on battle focus with the reroll and usually somewhere between 2-3 (and I only reroll on a 3 or lower). They do call me binary boy because I roll more 1s than binary
