Hey its JKSoper here, its my first post and I wanted to know if anyone had a good or any Warhammer Age of Sigmar Dark Elf army lists they would want to share, here is mine so far:
-1 Dark Elf Sorceress
-Lokhir Fellheart (As my General)
-10 Black Ark Corsairs with full command and each have a Vicious Blade in one hand and a repeater handbow in the other
-16 Darkshards with full command
-1 Dark Elf Assassin
-1 Reaper Bolt Thrower
I know it is small but I have only just gotten back into the hobby. I would like to see some other dark elf lists and how I could improve mine,

If your comp and local rules allow it, I'd swap Shadowblade in for the Assassin. Shadowblade is a lot more flexible and useful than the normal Assassin.

Thank you for responding, that sounds like a good idea it means I have more options so thank you, I really didn't think anyone would respond to my first article so fast so thank you again!

Anyway, as far as my play has shown, some of the other standouts for the Dark Elves are:

Executioners - These are arguably the best Dark Elf unit hands down, and really one of the top tier units in the whole game for what they can do. 2 mortal wounds on every hit roll of a 6 lets even a small amount of them put serious danger to anything. Plus, they can be included in the Exiled Blood Cohort formation, and more attacks can be gained.

Doomfire Warlocks - I like these guys a lot. It is a unit of mages, so you can have a big bubble of dispel ability, plus they bring speed, a good damage spell and decent fighting ability to the mix.

Hydras - Super durable, recover 3 wounds at the start of your hero phase, and can do a ton of damage. Definite winners.

Exiled Blood Cohort + Morathi + Hydra + RBTs is a winning combination I think. There's a ridiculous amount of support and buffs to be gained with having the formation close together, having extra attacks, re-rolls of 1, mortal wounds on a 6 and the ability to attack twice is all possible with the right combination. Hellebron and Morathi provide some magic defence (and ridiculous offence and mobility in the case of the latter) and the RBTs are just plain good.

The following setup comes in at 80 wounds. We normally play at 100 so you can add (or remove) as you see fit to get to that total (or whatever it is you play at):

Hellebron on Cauldron - 13
3 x 10 Witch Elves - 30
10 Executioners - 10
Hydra - 12
Morathi - 6
RBT - 4

I've also had some good success with the other Dark Elf formation, using large units of Darkshards and a Dreadlord on Dragon for his awesome command ability (and the dragon itself of course!). I would, of course, add Morathi, a Hydra to the list - those two units are the standouts in my opinion, though I'd admit that Executioners are really good as well!

Thank you so much for all of this support I will definitely take this advice, this could help me so much, I really didn't think I would get this much support, thank you. If there's a demand for dark elf articles I will defiantly post more, thanks

Personally, I have yet to fall head over heels for any of the Sorceresses. Morathi isn't bad, but I find that her special spell relies heavily on rolls. A d6 to see how strong, then another d6 to see how many hits you get is more wobbly than I'd like. If I want magical mortal wounds, I'd prefer the 10+ unit of Warlocks for the guaranteed 6.

I personally think the Sorceress on a Cold One is my favourite Dark Elf magic user as she is very mobile and has Chillwind which is a very good spell as well as she gets 2 extra atacks and all of this for 1 more wound than on foot

It's true her spell is a bit hit and miss, but what makes Morathi good is her mobility, the ability to cast/dispel two spells and the fact that she's actually pretty good in combat. The former I find is certainly a key thing in AoS. True, Warlocks are fast too, but they don't have Fly and have a bigger footprint. It's very easy to get Morathi exactly where you want her, which is very useful for stopping those summoning spells.

True, but the larger footprint of the Warlocks also gives them a wide area to dispel. Granted they can only do it once as opposed to twice with Morathi, so that is an advantage in her favor. And the fly is definitely nice to have. I suppose experience is going against me, as I have not faced off against a gonzo summoning list where magic is key yet. I've fought one summoning Tomb Kings army, but won that on Sudden Death (they charged Neferata at my knights, and she got Shadowblade-ed ). So I'll concede that my experience with magic is most likely less reliant on defense than yours.
