Please Find Below what my plans are for a competitive ork force.

I think i have a good mix of Dakka and Melee. and i also have what i consider a good psyc counter. and or a method to counter small squads
in the assassin. Its somthing i been toying with in my head a while and i thought i would ask the opinion of the internet.

Edit: Warboss in the BW with Painboy and MANz. or potentially in a trukk instead.

I have no idea about the Culexus assassin, but I can comment on the Ork aspect. I'll tell you all that I'd shave points off and then my thoughts.

Would drop: Both Attack Squigs, Gretchin, Killkannon, every Kombi-Skorcha, 1x Warbiker, Blitza-Bommer (Total 243 pts)

Now add: Bosspoles on Trukk Nobz and 'Eavy Armour on both squads (243-106 = 137 pts leftover)

Trukk Boyz without 'eavy armour die so easily. One explode can force you to take both a pinning and leadership check which = double Mob Rule rolls. And no Bosspoles? You're asking for trouble right off the bat. One turn of shooting can see a whole Trukk full of Boyz beating each other to death after a few deaths.

Never been a fan of the Killkannon on MANz Wagons. They eat up a (relatively) large number of points and if that thing gets shot off then you won't see any use from it. If you need something to eat a Weapon Destroyed then just get a 5 pt Rokkit Launcha.

Attack Squigs in a unit with DLS is wasted. And especially on the Painboy.

Kombi-Skorcha's are filler points, and I've never had a one-use thing like that make a huge difference for me. Maybe keep the ones in the MANz since they're most likely to get into range to use it.

I'd rather have a Dakkajet than the Bommer. But if you don't want to, then I'd drop the flyer entirely still and swing another unit of Trukk Boyz (without armour) or a unit of 5 Deffkoptas is only 150 pts and can bring more utility (in terms of targets to shoot, overall damage output and objective threatening).

Another unit that has treated me very well in this book has been Tankbustas. Something else to consider.

Alternatively, you can drop the Trukk Boyz entirely (since they're expensive) and take 2 minimal units of Gretchin just to fill the CAD and then that frees up a ton of more points for another unit of MANz (probably) or Tankbustas in Trukks. They're nice suicide units and they can put out damage that your opponent can't ignore for long.

Good points thanks. i didnt realize i forgot the bosspoles on those trukk mobs lol. Im kinda at work on an oil rig and distracting things seem to happen even with downtime. And your right i totally knew about the BW rokkit thing i just forgot. Im gona make some alterations. The Blitza Bomma i think has its place as the rules for bombing are not really that scary, and i think it makes a nice distraction. As for the skorchas, im going to be playing against nids pretty frequently. so i figured a few of those wouldnt hurt.

Ok I corrected a few mistakes i made from being at the end of my shift and tired.
Also included are the rules for Culexus. I think it adds a few things i need.
1. Friend plays nids with some MC, Namely Diamchaeron, Malenthrope, Dakkafex, trygon.
2. feth with the psychic phase of the enemy alot.
3 Be a reliable threat, he could charge a small squad and likely win combat. Or rape a squad of zoanthropes.
4. Get more of me on their side of the table. Linebreaker, or tag objectives. It doesnt have ObSec but if your close enough to contend that means your close enough to get murdered.
5. Decent shooting that increases with the number of psytards i needs be faceing.

I think i slimmed it down pretty good and got a squad of tankbustas in a trukk as well.
I didnt go with Ard boys, but i am pretty good at judging distances and keeping trukks safe.

Also heres a bonus Pic of my army right now, theres alot more coming in the name of meganobs, another dakkajet, Kannons, and a bunch more green. and burnas too

The second list looks way better. Much more balance, can threaten Nidzilla or swarm (assuming not overwhelming swarm) and brings enough threats in the form of MANz, Trukks, Bikes, Tankbustas and Stormboyz that even balanced lists would struggle.

Great army too!

I was wondering why ORK HORDE DETACHMENT? Do you need three HQ?
Otherwise I'd go with CAD as it has better Command Benefits.
