The idea that you have is a really cool one, but implemented poorly IMHO.
You have overused the airbrush (IMHO), that is one of the biggest problem here. It makes the models look unfinished. An example of this is on the treeman with 2 swords, his blades have random stripes of colours which look out of place.
If you want to go for those sorts of stripes, it would be best to blend the two separate stripes together, the light blue/white fading into the black or vise versa.
The other big problem that i see is the parts that are not airbrushed look flat and unfinished. The black looks really out of place and the orange/red on the ancient more so.
For the black i would add in some grey to help give it some depth and i would stay away from the oranges and reds if you want to go for a cold colour scheme.
The eyes are also flat, and could do with lighter colours to help bring the eyes out. Adding a glow to the eyes on all of them would help the models tremendously, even if it is a subtle glow.
Now that the negatives are out of the way i can say what i think you did great.
The bases look sweet and fit the theme perfectly, you have used the correct amount of snow to make it look believable and not outlandish.
The snow particles on the treemen and the dryads help make them look better.
The snowy forester is well done and looks believable.
TLDR: Focus more on the other colours and reduce the use of the airbrush.
