Pretty straight forward question mates. Looking to do a Storm Trooper/Airborne Astra Militarum list utilizing the Elysian Army Rules, and to do that I was planning to use the Militarum Tempestus Scion models as my standard Guardsmen. However, I am tempted to order some FW Cadians (the ones in theHostile Environment gear),and use those bodies combined with the Scion Legs, Arms, and Weapons. Has anyone tried this before or is there a better way to do this? Appreciate the help mates.

The torso should deffs match up with the legs. you will, however, need to smooth down the top of the legs from rounded to flat as the scion bodies attach to the legs similar to space marines rather than guardsmen.
Spoiler:
this isnt mine but as you can see it totally works and looks totally rad.

Good find, however I did come across a good convertion I think would look really good. Basically you take the Hostile Environment Cadians toros, along with the Scion arms plus the weapons, and then you use legs from the Mad-Robot CDF models. From a first glance they do seem to look pretty good together. Thoughts?
