Hey guys.

I'm trying to get my khorne daemons to look like this. But I''m not quit sure what colors to use for the skin or the hair along the back. I'm looking for a little bit of guidance form someone more experienced than I am.

I really like how the skin is very dark (almost black) with a tint of blue.

Thanks for much for the help.

While I'm not all that great at painting, but it looks like you would just need to start with a Black basecoat and slowing work up to the dark blue via mixing in black n blue.

That's just my 2cents.

I'd work the other way - start with a slightly lighter color (something like dark reaper mixed with black) and wash your way down with blue and black washes; maybe even some crimson in the wash. It's just that the washes will easily darken the recesses, and you can get some gradients with little effort.

If you want the bloodthirster skin to pop a little more than that one, drybrush it really lightly with something like daemonette hide (or thunderbawk blue).
