Just finished my first attempt at four legged robot for a group of space marine Cavalry. Obviously a conversion from the iron strider kit. The next two will have some type of spears and different poses for the robots. These will most likely be black Templars to go with their knight theme. Let me know what you think. I'll play them as space marine bike squads most likely

Thanks

They don't really look like the hill where Jesus was crucified...

In all seriousness this cavalry looks dead cool.

Awesome! Really nice kitbashing; the robot seems very natural and with a very different look to the ironstrider.

You could probably also use them as counts-as thunder wolves.

Also, to go along with my medieval theme, i started work on a siege tower. Not sure if i like it however. Its a little big. Might go back and try one on a rhino chassis.

Cool steeds.

The siege tower is the winner here though, amazing bit of converting.

Very cool stuff all around. I really love the neophites and the tower.

Keep the seige tower! No such thing as 'tank too big' in 40k.

I was thinking it looked too small. A tower that tall probably could use a baneblade chassis as a base. Give it a little more mass at the bottom, less likely to fall over.

I agree with Nevelon, I really like the conversions though, super cool!

Some great ideas, love the cavalry, brilliant execution. Think the guys above are right about the tower, looks great but a baneblade chassis will make it more imposing and stable looking. Look forward to seeing more of you projects

It looks super cool so far.

I personally dont like how there is a mix of smooth rounded panels and sharp square ones.

pretty much my only complaint/criticism but thats only opinion

I get what you guys are saying but every image I can find of a siege tower they're pretty skinny on bottom and top. I'm thinking about adding support legs and the turrets still which will help too

I think it's fine, the base is a Land Raider (right?) chassis, which isn't exactly small.

Awesome imagination on the conversions! I would agree with the Thunderwolves, unless you put paired Bolters on them somewhere, which might or might not work (might break up the really cool lines you have going).

You should add a Vindicator cannon on that, also maybe some safety rails on that assault ramp?

You don't need safety rails if you have faith in the Emperor!

The siege tower looks amazing.
