Im decently happy with him, mabye ill add some tattos, but the fire just isnt right. Any ideas for painting a nice spectral fire, mabye something like how nagash's ghosts are painted?

Hi,
I'm a huge fan of orks so I cant help but comment =) The weird boyz are looking great.

Personally I like to add a splash of colour as a focus for your model and in your case I think the fire would be the perfect focus. I usually go for a red usually, but that looks too similar normal fire so I guess blue in this instance might be nice, but more of an electric blue.

If you want to keep it green then I'd perhaps try a different hue of green. I've found you can get quite an eerie look using a combination of painting it white, Biel Tan wash in the crevices and then several glazes with GW way watcher green. Finish off with a light layer of white on the very tips or dry brush if you prefer.

Or if you'd be happy with a turquoise I've heard GW Nuhilakh oxide on white gives a nice ethereal effect, though I've not tried it myself.

Happy painting =)
