I've recently been wanting to do something unique with my Betrayal at Calth Space Marines and as I have no interest in 30k (expensive books and no real players here in SE Texas ) I'm wanting to do something fun and unique with all my unused SM models (All the stuff in the BAC boxed set plus a just about everything to make a full codex battle company) I've jotted down some fluff including a few potential names, mottos, Fortress Monasteries, and four different paint schemes.

I'd love to hear what all of you think and I'd love suggestions for anything and everything including ideas for a fairly easy to freehand icon for the shoulder pads.

My favorite, but I don't know how I would paint the termies without people thinking they're Deathwing

The first looks too comical with the orange and yellow head with his red body.
The next two are decent but Im with you on the last scheme, my favourite by far.

the last is my fav by far too. reminds me of thousand sons tho. also for the termies you could do the quarter paint scheme where the leftle andright arm are red or have a red element. maybe the thigh plates and elbo pads on the arms could be red?

also deathwing is yellowish bone that is more of a natural bone color with a darker brown/grey shade

the 2nd one, everyone will tell you "nice emperors children I hate painting white too"

Thanks for your input guys, I'll paint a test model this afternoon and hopefully get some decent photos posted.
