Aside from the ones mentioned in the Iquisitor rule book. In the the common 40k Universe I only hear a lot about Kryptman and Czevak.
Or is it just because I read non of the Deamonhunter and Witchhunter codicies ? I don't know anyone one of the Ordo Malleus and Hereticus. In the Inquis Exterminatus book where Gründwald and two others. But never heard anything of them in Chaos or IG/SM articels.

Well there's Brehm Sasham from the Xenology book and the famous Ravenor,Eisenhorn,Tyrus,Jena Orechiel,Covenant and Gründwald.
A quick look into my codexes gives me this:
Marchand,Hephaistos Grudd,Lichtenstein (Excommunicate Traitoris),Torquemada Cortez(most known Order Daemonicus hunter) and Inq Quixos are mentioned in the Daemonhunter Codex.
As for the WH one, there is Inq Enoch,Malich,Scallen,Karamozov.

Well how many are still not-hereticed is a good question.
Sasham *spoiler* dies in the Xenology book as for a few of them are rumoured to be dead ages ago.(glorious death in battle and such.Probably just tripped on an annointed holy banana peel, discarded by the Space Emperor)

Well I hope Czevak is mentioned in the new Eldar Codex he knows where the Black Library is and after Ahriman wants to track him down. And now thousand sons could enter the web way this could give the story a new turn.
What also strikes me is how one single human is allowed to get such a great insight in the eldar society. Those sneaky bastards must have a plan. Or he is hidden in a box at the roof of Eldrads house.

I think there was some short story in a WD that Ahriman did capture Czevak and is trying to get his secrets.
mmh...what would one of the most powerful mortal Sorcerers in the 40k 'verse do, if he had all the knowledge of the black libary?

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I cant believe people here are forgeting the first major celebrity Inquisitor: Jaq Draco (and his opponent the 'Harlequin man' for that matter).

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Over there... no, wait, AARGH!

Jaq had a Squat the followed him around, so all knowledge of him is denied.

Not in Kansas anymore, Toto

I can't believe no-one's mentioned the architypal original inquisitor: Obiwan Sherlock Clousseau. Rogue Trader, pg 144. What were they thinking?

That isn't Red Shirt as in under-qualified, under-informed and over-opinionated GW staff...
It isn't Red Shirt as in Manchester United...

...It's Red Shirt as a tribute to the brave men condemned to death by being selected by Captain James T. "Bill Shatner's Ego Trip" Kirk for landing party duties in the 23rd Century/late 1960s.
