It always feels like I'm trying to build a new and better army list.
So while I continue to buy more meganobs tell me if you guys think this list is competitive or am I wasting my time or if you recommend any changes. What do you think?

Detschment 1- CaD
Zhardsnark- warboss with Intiative 4 PK on bike that has scout and skilled rider
Painboy on bike

Mek with kustom blasta
6 tankbustas upgrade one to nob (attach Mek to this unit)

8 warbikers-upgrade one to nob with pk (zhardsnark and painboy here)
3 warbikers
3 warbikers

Gunwagon x2- for tankbustas/bullyboys
Gunwagon x2- for bullyboys (proxy trukks if needed for 4x av13 transports)

Detschment 2- bullyboyz
5 meganobs upgrade one to skorcha
5 meganobs upgrade one to skorcha
5 meganobs upgrade one to skorcha

Detschment 3- renegade knight warden
knight warden (have fun converting this model as a looted ork vehicle)

yes it is competative cept for the lone tankbustas but thats not so bad...
BTW why the Mek with rokkit with the tankbustas

nevermind I messed up battlescribe and didn't include the pks on the small warbikers I fixed the above post however the Mek had to go. I wish I had more points for a few more tankbustas but that would mean I'd lose warbikers or drop the pks on the nobs and take big choppas instead. Do you recommend either of those changes? Dropping the two small squad pks into BC for 3 tankbustas or dropping 3 warbikers in zhards group for 4 tankbustas? I'm not sure if that's a good trade off.
The reason I took a Mek with a rokkit instead of a tankbusta nob is the Mek is 20points and the nob was 23points.

I think this is a pretty good list as is. If youre gonna drop a PK, drop one from the big squad. However, adding more stuff to the TBs is a no-win. They are just too squishy. Theyre offensive capability by far outweighs their defense, and thus make them an easy target in your opponents eyes. Good list

You are right especially after the faq changes with tankbusta bombs being 1 per assault. Making the tankbustas squad bigger just makes it a bigger threat and bigger target priority. They are ok defensively in a gunwagon surrounded by mega nobs on gunwagons.

The klaws on your 3 bike units are taking a lot of points. WIth 15 meganobz you may not need all those klaws.

How many points does the knight come to? I have a similar list but I did not consider an allied knight. Instead I run 3 tankbustas units of 9 in trukks and the bully boyz are in trukks too because they are fast vehicles.

A basic knight warden is 375 and renegade is allies of convience.

The trukks are faster but die so easily. The gunwagons are much harder to kill as av13+ spam is hard for a lot of armies to deal with. It also adds more av13 spam to chose between them and the knight for a nominal cost over the trukk with ram. Most people don't have the long range anti tank to deal with that much av13 so they have to chose thier target priority and that means something is getting through. Also I'm probably not going to get a first turn charge with even with the trukks so going flat out the first turn with gunwagons is fine it's not like mega nobs can shoot. I also find the anti tank weapons are the same weapons people want to use against meganobs or even vs toughness 4/5, 4+ armour, 3+ cover save, 5+ fnp bikers needs some high to mid strength weapons to deal with them. With so many high threat targets all the low str anti infsntry weapons will be all over the tankbustas once thier av13 transport is popped.

Regarding the klaws ya they are overpriced I'll probably play with the numbers drop the 2 nobs with klaws on the 3 bike units (this is why I magnetized the pk on them in the first place) and get a Mek with killsaw with the tankbustas and keep a klaw nob on zhards group mainly because that group will be jinking and assaulting the most. the 3 bike units are mainly to grab objectives anyway. However the Mek with killsaw provides help with lon rules and gives the tankbusta unit a threat in assault that the faq took away and tankbustas are a close range unit anyway at 24in.
