Hey guys.

Finally started playing after a while of collecting and painting. My friend will be my primary opponent and he's running the Chaos from the AoS starter set. I'm leaning towards Seraphon myself at the moment. Want to research properly before sinking my cash into it though. Basically I'm thinking that the start collecting: Seraphon will be my best value starting point. Can anyone advise me how best to go about balancing it to be competitive with my friends army please? If there are other models that I should go for instead of the box set then I'm open to those suggestions as well.

Cheers

The start collecting would pretty much put you on the same power level as the chaos from the starter set.

Check with your opponent if you can play with the Knights in two units of 4 and you'll have four different units to his six. Totally playable From there you will probably both want to expand your armies, and then you can merge the knights into one proper unit of eight again.

Cheers!

Every time your friend wrongs you in some way, add a Bastiladon to your army.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

My main forces in AoS are Seraphon so feel free to ask any question.

Right away I want to tell you that the Starter set is a great deal, but the Saurus Knights are a bit lackluster.
