The figure pops out from the wings because he had Balthasar gold and auric armor gold applied and was then shaded. Wings were just Balthasar and shade

Looks good! You could certainly do some highlightings on the edges to break it up a bit if you wanted, but I like it.

Pics are a bit dark, but overall I'd agree on shades and highlights missing.
If people choose to apply it, I'm usually all for a very careful use of weathering/scratches, especially in space marines gear, but you really could have added a bit more of that, and on places that usually scratch easiest on vehicles (corners and most exposed angles and edges).
Other than that, solid work.

Outer Space, Apparently

Looks pretty good to me! It looks like you have a smooth finish on all the red, and the gold doesn't look so bad either

My recommendation would be to go over the whole vehicle with a detail brush painting some shade into all the recesses; it takes a really long time, but trust me, it looks fantastic. Then you can drybrush the whole vehicle to make all the detail look nice and sharp - Kindleflame would be an ideal colour for this if you're using Citadel paints. This will also be much faster and easier than doing edge highlighting.

Some other details you can consider if you're up to it is adding a mud effect to the tracks and bottom part of the Rhino's frame. Do this using Stirland Mud and a drybrush to build up the effect, dragging your brush towards you from the bottom of the track to about a few centimetres onto the tank itself.

Hope this helps
