So...

When I was younger, I was never one for painting miniatures, in fact all those years ago it was my mother who used to paint them so that I didn't have to. I was never sure if she enjoyed it or whether she just didn't want me changing the decoration of the dining room.

Fast forward over ten years, and I've still yet to do much in the way of painting (or *even* building the models), but I have continued with many impulse purchases - always along the lines of "That looks cool, if I buy it I'm sure that I'll build and paint it soon."

Yep, how naive I was to think that will happen. So, I do now have a rather nice collection of dusty boxes, with a few newer not so dusty boxes to mix it up a little. I've attached a couple of pictures of some of the boxes I have yet to build. I've assembled maybe 1/3 of the Assault on Black Reach, and next to nothing of the rest...

So, the point of this is to try and motivate myself to actually assemble and paint these miniatures as I would like to get back into Warhammer properly. It's been a number of years since I've painted anything, so I can't imagine they'll go well. I also have no clue what to start as there is so much to pick. Any suggestions?
