Howdie guys n gals.

I have painted up a few squads of flesh tearers and have found myself questioning the red that i ended up with, especially after comparing it to the red achieved in the Flesh tearers example army displayed in the latest BA codex.

I got some advice from my local GW and they advised it may be worth a wash of Agrax Earth shade to darken things up a bit.

Do you guys think it's necessary? For an FT scheme does this red look a little off to you too?

(The arms are popped off as I'm reworking the magnets so CC options are possible)

I think this looks ace as it is. Don't stress too much about being an exact copy of the box. Just do what you think looks good. Flesh Tearers are depicted as a darker red normally, but you've worked hard on these and it shows. The black backpacks and iconography on the pads will make it clear they are Flesh Tearers.
