Who thought we would ever see this day?

A day when the GS Cult was so close we could mock it?

Not me that's for sure.

So some false and made up rumors!

1-The cult will be the most unbalanced and abusive army in 40k history with underbarrel vortex grenade launchers as standard equipment and armored limos with multiple void shields.
2-Cult genestealers will have poison 2+, AP2, armor bane and a 4++ dodge save, this is justified because of reasons.
3-New fluff will revile that GS cults often ambush hive workers and steal their denim pantaloons. No one knows why this is so.
4-Cultists reinforce their weak troops by traveling to orbital habitats and detonating rad bombs next to sacrificial victims. Most die but a few are mutated by the gamma radiation into huge muscle-bound monsters. These green-skinned Void-Giants are said to be the strongest ones there are.
5-As they recruit new members cultists are known to target citizens name Eugene or Jeanne for kidnapping, no knows why.
6-GS Cults cannot ally with Tyranids, but can ally with Chaos or Imperial Guard. They can ally with Tau if and only if your opponent is using the Citadel Journal rules for Ciaphas Cain.
7-For their years of work tending the Genestealer Cult Flame, GW will name two random fluff characters Navarro and Huckleberry.
8-The Cult will be able to field a female psyker riding a dung beetle. This is because we've gotta clear these Everqueen models out somehow.
9-The Cult will get a huge mining robot that counts as a model and a huge tunneling monster that counts as a vehicle.
10-GS cultists will get a multipart kit full of options and alternatives. The cover art will show them peeing on a group of Chaos Cultists.

I've heard that the models will have options on the sprue so amazing as to not be believed, but the only way to equip models is exactly like the board game units...

Purestrains will be able to once again gain hybrids by implanting their victims.

Genestealer Cult gains the ability to reroll to seize the initiative if their opponent is wearing jeans.

A Grey Knight character will be infested and playable by the Cult. However it will be Allies of Desperation, remember to enjoy forging the narrative!

They actually drive a Prius. Has stealth if you move 3" or less in the turn.

Codex GC will include every vehicle from Codex AM.

Codex GC will include a Gargantuan Creature, called the favored son. It will resemble a 9" tall Genestealer and cost $150 MSRP.

They'll make a plastic Genestealer Cult Thunderhawk but it will be limited edition and have bits and bobs all over the hull to make it useless to SM players.

They've also made plastic infested battle sisters. With cult markings and mutations so you'd basically have to resulpt them to use as normal sisters.

FW will release a Gargantuan Creature, called something unpronouncable in english. It will resemble a 12" tall Genestealer and have multiple arm options, none of which will be ranged weapons, all available seperately.

The entire release will consist of Alpha Legion miniatures. The Genestealer Cult was just a front for Alpha Legion operations.

Considering how popular Scatter Lasers on every Eldar Jetbike were, Hybrids will have a Jetbike option also, and be able to have every model with a Mining Laser.

22. There will be a 1d3 table for the elite unit for each round of close combat. On a 1, the unit gets Fear. On a 2, the unit gets fearless. On a 3, the unit gets skyfire.

23. The warlord table has only 4 traits, introducing a new mechanic where if you roll a 1 or 2, you get nothing and like it! It's called the Spaulding rule.

24. Genestealers gain shooting attacks, but will get BS0.

When they come out to play, they will be Fab-u-l-ous, in their limos and rightous purple.
(Because I have alot of genestealers that need to come out to play.)

They have a warlord trait that allows you to roll a d20 every turn. On a 2+ you get to commandeer any unit from your opponent.

27-Cults will be able to steal Imperial Equipment! Contrary to rumors however they will not be able to take Imperiator Guardicon gear, instead they can take Centurions, Dreadknights, Broadsides, warbuggies, Heldrakes and those elf flying boat things.

It will be modeled in a totally original and never before done way: Awkwardly perched on some kind of thing with one of the small arms holding something and one of the big claw arms pointing, in the same general pose as Snoopy pretending to be a vulture.

The army book will only be sold pre-loaded on a GW-branded iPad that is locked to only include GW content. All future rulebooks and army books will require you to mail your iPad to GW, purchase the new book(s), which will be loaded onto the device, and it will be shipped back to you with the new content added.

Genestealer Cults have special rules pertaining to facial hair.

If you have no facial hair, they all gain Shrouded and Stealth.
If you have a Mustache, they all get Stealth and Furious Charge.
If you have a Bear, they all get Shrouded and Hatred.
And if you have both, they all get Furious Charge and Hatred.

Edit: You know, the Bear was a typo... But Imma keep that. You want Hatred? Go tame a grizzly.

Cultists will have a unit that can take any upgrades from any unit from another codex. And I do mean any unit.

GC will have the Silent King as an HQ option, allowing GC to take anything from the Necron codex - including formations - as battle brothers.

The 'Nids got him during his snooze in intersellar space and sent him back!

39. Codex: GSC Decurion will grant free transports from the following list: IG Sentinel (Transport Capacity 1 + number you can hang off it, barrel of monkeys style), Ogryn Rickshaw, and Land Raider Redeemer.

40: Just in GS can take a new aquatic trait which gives them the option to get a head mounted laser cannon. There will also be a warlord trait (auto on a special Aqutic GS Patriach) called flooded that makes the whole battlefield water terrain.

The Aquatic trait gives 12" move stealth and shrouded to any model with it if it begins or ends it's move in water terrain. They can also run and charge if they or their target begin the charge in water terrain.

41: remember those lost primarchs? They were Genestealers . The Genestealer cult will be able to use those primarchs as LOWs, but it won't matter because they'll get shoehorned into every formation.
