...but the infinity circuit was wiped clean!?

I know, that was the whole point.

They were on Eldrads side! Were they tho? No one plays a role better than the harlequins, it's called being in character and they'll play it to their own death if required.

Ever wonder why all of Eldrads plans failed after consulting the Circuit?
Considering its a gestalt consciousness of past Eldar dating back to the fall, it's highly likely at least 1 of those souls had been corrupted.

Sacrificing all those souls to get rid of possibly just 1 corrupted? Yeah that's how harlequins work, you should really read their stories.

I could go on but the idea really just speaks for itself and has harlequins all over it.

No it wasn't.

That's the exact opposite of what happened. If Eldrad had succeeded the infinity circuits would have been destroyed. He failed and they weren't.

I was just summarizing the effect but I'll reword for technical accuracy

That's [still] the exact opposite of what happened. If Eldrad had succeeded the infinity circuits would have been emptied (Death Masque, pg.9). He failed and they weren't (Death Masque, pg.19).

The ritual reached its crescendo(thesaurus:pinnacle=climax) so all the craftworlds were emptied at this point as stated on pg9
He did fail and the crystal seers-links to the craftworlds infinity circuits shattered as stated on pg19
Then the "vast and solemn constellation lost cohesion" and the planet ignited in white fire.

With no link back, how do the souls return to the craftworld infinity circuit?
If the souls are channeled into the crystal grains of the planet surface and it ignited in white fire....?

It's just the usual X-treme style of GW writing: every story is nearly *galaxy*-breaking in scale and then promptly ignored. Like The Simpsons, everything is just magically back to normal after the story ends.

No. What pg.19 states is that '...the ritual reached its crescendo... / every dead craftworlder since the Fall lent a measure of its sentience.' (my emphasis).

Not that the infinity circuits were emptied or destroyed.
