Check it out here for more pictures and even more info on his blog, a quite beautiful civilian 40k backwater settlement teeming with shoddy life:

That looks wonderful! What matterials did you use to create the adobe walls and structure on it?

His work is indeed a wonder. Good question on the adobe walls and structure materials. Dieselmonkey is not on DakkaDakka, so the best way to find out would be to register on Oldhammer and ask him.

Two new updates to this hive of scum and villainy, by the master. More of it in his main blog and in this cargo ship thread:

Yep, he has an awesome thread going on in a couple of places. His hand-made ship is fantastic.

Hi all, was pointed to this thread by the OP, it's my scenery/models, so thought I'd sign up to say thanks for the comments!

The buildings themselves are made of cork tiles, and then sprayed with Plasti-Kote textured paint, specifically 'Santa Fe Sand'. They've then just had a brown wash over the top.

As for me, As well as my Port Imperiale project, I've got a bit of a habit of creating the most obscure armies I can.

I've got squats:

Imperial Guard Chelsea Pensioners:

Feral Worlders:

And Space Slann. Lots of Space Slann...

Cheers all!

I really don't know why I bother with Flickr, it's useless! Have rehoused them, should work now.
