They have been posted on some websites like Bell of Lost Souls, but the only official location, currently, I'd in their box. There is a new book coming out that will have them as well.

Increase plasma blasts from 'none' to small and small to large at the expense of doubling gets hot chance.

The reason they're auto include for convocation is people have decided that 'plasma weapons as defined in the BRB' includes mechanicus.

.. that's basically what I said?

they make 'free' ... 'better' or more accurately, mean a 150 point unit can put down 6 large plasma blasts, or a 100~ pt assault unit could throw 6 small blasts.

If, again, you take it that they apply to plasma weapons outside the BRB, the current logic as I understand it being 'because feth you'

Nope that is not what you said you just rambled on about admech plasma not being plasma
This isn't a rule issue really nor a reason to curse

Plasma weapons as per FAQ.

Oh I can assure you it's absolutely a reason to curse. The ammount of time it's going to waste in contending it in my local GW alone will get a 1000 point game played :|

I want to strap one to the back of a tank... preferably a Stormblade... see what happens...

Begs question. Does it work on the really big plasma weapons? By really big I mean tank mounted ones.

Like park an Executioner russ near it. Get 5 large plasma blasts. Or park a Stormblade. Get stupid huge pie plate of plasma death and destruction? It is a Executioner Plasma Cannon or a Plasma Blast Gun after all.

Or more insanity. Warlord titan plasma weapon. Make pie plate so huge can only measure with tape. Hilarity ensues as half of board is wiped out from the plasma destruction.

Edit: found the rules. Silly "non vehicle" thing. Sad face.

My brother was going to take one of these for his Ravenwing Army (heavy on the Black Knights). Luckily he has no fortification slot so he has no way to do it. Otherwise I would be screwed!

The Emperor's Wrath Artillery Company requires 1-3 Techpriests. One benefit is that a unit with a vox caster may nominate am enemy unit within 18", and the formation gets twin-linked against it.

Meaning blasts reroll Scatter and Gets Hot.

You can buy a Techpriest, 2 Plasma Cannon Servitors and 2 bullet catcher Servitiors for 120. This gives you 2 blasts to make large, and you can then grant them Ignores Cover with Fire On My Target!

Servitors means the Inquisition as well making use of it. Those servitors are dirt cheap Plasma Cannons.

Twin Linked does still allow a reroll for gets hot as it directly says it does in the BRB. What doesn't work according to the draft FAQ is stuff like reroll 1s and preferred enemy for blast weapons.

"Hold my shoota, I'm goin in"
Armies (7th edition points)
7000+ Points Death Skullz
4000 Points

I'm like 99% sure the faq specifically mentions twin-linked as not working. Edit: So the FAQ doesn't say twin linked but it does heavily imply that rerolls to hit don't benefit get's hot on blast weapons. Do you have the text for twin-linked saying it works for gets hot? Or a page number?
