Funded!!! ... and the first stretch goal!

Wow!!! Funded in less than 9 hours!!! To be quite honest I wasn't sure how this campaign would be going and I feel truly blessed by the support I am receiving! Thank you so much!!!

Guess it's time to announce that first stretch goal then!



I've known Tim for a while now and he's a superb painter! I am very happy that he is willing to do this journal for us! The journal will detail his process of painting the orc Shaman by showing various stages and some explanations of how he paints. It will not be a full step by step article but will surely be a very learnful guide to those who would like to learn.

Tim will start working on this guide as soon as he receives his copy of the Shaman. The journal will be compiled into a PDF which will be sent out to you. This means that it could take a little longer to reach you than the actual miniatures themselves but will give you plenty of time to prep yours, so you can use the guide as inspiration!

Please note that this journal is exclusive to this campaign and will only be sent out to our backers!

Stretch goal 1 unlocked!!! 2nd stretch goal unveiled!


It's a nice thing to wake up to! Stretch goal 1 is unlocked meaning that every backer who got a pledge containing the orc Brave, Shaman or both will receive a PDF containing the Tim Marsh painting journal!!!

On to stretch goal 2 which is similar to the first. A painting journal containing the Brave!



This time the journal will be written by David Powell who is an awesome painter! The journal, like that of the Shaman, will detail his process of painting the orc Brave by showing various stages and some explanations of how he paints. Stretch goal 2 is unlocked! How cool is that!! Everyone who is getting an orc will receive a painting journal PDF of the Brave done by David Powell!

Where to begin?! I am simply overwhelmed by the support I am getting from you guys! I know I don't have the biggest campaign going on with all the bells and extras that some are used to these days, but you guys are sticking by, me and that means that what we are doing must be a good thing!

The success of this campaign means that we will be able to bring out many more miniatures in the coming time and you are truly KICKSTARTING my company! For that you have my eternal gratitude!!!

Can you believe that just before this campaign I didn't have any stretch goals planned at all?! It is because of the help of my good friends that I have been able to offer them. Tim Marsh and David Powell are doing to the painting journals which will be an inspiration for sure!

Now for the third stretch goal we have something really cool coming up! I am just waiting for some graphic work to come in and will post the update soon!... sorry for being such a tease!

Stretch goal 3!

Ouroboros Miniatures & Figure painting Magazine are proud to present the third stretch goal for the Ouroboros Tales campaign. This stretch goal will be unlocked when we reach €5000,- and is available to all backers who got the combo pack!



''Well what is it then!?'' Figure painting Magazine is an digital magazine about our hobby and they will do a triple! review of the Ouroboros Tales orcs! Triple? Yes, triple!!! While this campaign is only about the Brave and the Shaman, there is a third orc miniature being worked on right now by Denis Soul! That orc is the Beast handler and his two pet hyenas! Besides the reviews there will be a painting article about the beast handler and his hyenas by Luke Wilson. A very talented painter and good friend of mine!

What the backers of the combo pack will get is the issue of Figure Painting Magazine containing the articles for free!!!

For a number of reasons this miniature is and will not be included in this campaign. The most important one is that it simply isn't finished yet and it could still take some time before he's ready to go on sale! Adding him to the campaign will surely cause delays!

However!

However there will be a special offer for backers of this campaign as I want to reward them further for helping me get Ouroboros Miniatures off the ground! Besides the FPM issue you will also get a 10% special discount code for the Beast handler and his hyenas that is usable for whenever he goes on sale!

Stretch goal 3 unlocked and some previews!

We have reached 5K so that means that stretch goal 3 is unlocked! Every backer of the combo pack will now receive the issue of Figure Painter Magazine containing a triple review and a painting article about the Beast handler by Luke Wilson!

WOWWW!!! What else to say than an enormous thank you to all of you who have made this campaign a huge success so far! Before this campaign started we didn't have any stretch goals at all but thanks to my friends Luke, Tim and David and of course FPM we could offer you three! These have now all been reached and I wish I had more to give to you!

Denis Soul is working hard to make sure we have more stunning releases to bring to you soon-ish and I wanted to share some previews with you!



Because of you we will be able to bring out these new pieces much faster (I hope right around the time you start receiving the Shaman and the Brave) and it also enables us to work on new ones! We got plenty of ideas and what you've seen so far is only the tip of the iceberg! Huge troll, a goblin riding a giant snake and such anyone…?!!!
