So I'm seeing all these lists that try to pigeonhole Magnus into a Flying Circus, or run him with a bunch of summoning Exalted Sorcerers or even try to run him with Rubric Marines. Here's how you run Magnus.

Pretty fun. By not using a TS detachment you lose his blessing bonus, which is a big deal. Buut it does look fun. Could swap typhus out for a nurgle character with the zombie-maker tm.

The pandemoniad might be better, blanket 4++ across the mass of heralds and blues.

Magnus chills by the VSG on turn 1. Then he flies, dump a lot of powers on a target (or several) then flat-outs into ongoing reserve.

Then he arrives on turn 2, and shoots stuff again

If they're shooting your Horrors instead of Magnus, you're winning.

Can't include the Poxwalker Hive as this is not a DG detachment and you can't include Magnus with DG.

Yeah I was thinking split it down into a TS detachment and a DG one, so Magnus gets his bonus.
