Hi All

Well, when trying to sign up, it turned out I actually signed up many years ago (2010). I left the hobby for a long time, mainly due to costs, time and lack of opponents.

I have recently discovered Table Top Simulator and discovered that it can be used to play 40k - I actually got TTS for RPG purposes. So, since I now have access to models and games can be saved, I have decided to get back into 40k. I've always been a fan of the fluff, so have never really left that aspect of the hobby, whether listening to audio books, watching lore videos on youtube or just reading a 40k Wiki Article.

I haven't played since 3rd Edition and have only just started reading the current rulebook (only up to the Psychic Phase so far).

I have however put a lot of time in creating the fluff for an Imperial Guard hive world regiment. I will be posting in another forum a 'Codex' for this regiment and will update it as I add to it. I will put a link to it in here ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/711392.page#9083527 ) for those who want to see the Codex grow / change / evolve as I add to it and modify it. One thing I do know already is that the fluff structure of the regiment is getting more and more complex as I go.
