So I've got 10 Guardsmen and a Leman Russ that I want to convert to a Soviet-esque force. The Leman Russ wll be made into a T34, but I'm not sure about the Guardsmen. I'll try to sculpt ushankas. Do you have a ny other tips?

Or maybe see if you can find historical figures to use instead. It would probably be a lot easier converting weapons than whole figures.

Surprisingly I couldn't see any other third party human Soviet style heads from my usual sources (Maxmini, Kromlech or Victoria); several of them have Ork Soviet heads, but not human!

Get a winter Russian sprue from warlord they are fully comparable with cadians and come with loads of heads arms and packs etc
