Currently painting one in Cadian type of camo (i guess?)
Cant make out the details in most pictures i found online, dont know which paint to take and what to paint.
Currently added the tracks with leadbelcher.

Saw that video already but thanks
My question was on how to paint the details, like the exhaust pipes in the back
Or the symbols on the back.
Cant see how they are painted and cant find any online pics.

I've painted mine a very similar colour to that green, and I painted all the vents and symbols silver and gold. Mechanical bits and decorations.

I'd recommend tidying up the green and tan as well. Just a few splatters.

What kind of silver and gold?

I used Leadbelcher with a black wash, just for the mechanical stuff. Exhausts and all. Then Balthasar Gold for the gold parts. But any good coverage metallics should work a treat,

Thanks will do so, only white i got was terminator stone and ceramite white, used terminator stone for the skulls and gold for the stuff around the skulls. 60-70% done now, need to add details at the tank commander and some minor details.

Sounds good! It's your model, ultimately. You can paint it however you want to. Be sure to post some pictures when it's done!

They are mostly covered in paint.
Tracks, tires, pintle weapons, lights and windows are the main exceptions.
Whether this makes a nice looking model is for you to decide.
If you do go down the mostly paint route then your options for adding detail or interest include weathering of all types, stowage, specialist equipment, insignia, camo netting, nose art/kill markings, crew.

The two different colours on the exhausts looks a bit off and your paint is a little thick but that's looking pretty good.
Also that picture is way better than the first, try finding a nice neutral background to shoot against next time.

Yeah should have painted both in camo or both in silver and gold completely.
Whatever, i dont think its that bad and my next tank will be much better.

That looks pretty damn good! I have to agree it looks a little thick, but nothing that ruins the model.

If you're happy with it and think you can improve then go for it. I'd either go for fully painted metallic exhausts or fully tan like you said.

Keep it up!

The only things that I can think of on painting your tank is that if it can come off (in 'real' world) it's not going to be painted with the tank, ie the heavy bolters, the spotlight, and the caps on the smoke launchers (although I have seen those painted IRL). So the bolters will be metallic, the spotlight casing green, the caps black (rubber). The things that I see 'questionable' on your are the hings and the handle on the box, those would probable be painted over as well and the tube of the main gun most definable would be. But, it is your model and your regulations, so whatever you want goes!

And if I may, I have seen real tanks being painted and to fit them into the paint booths they have the turrets turn 180 so the pattern is reversed between the body and turret. Just a thought.

Mud Duck, that's an interesting thought. Anything that isn't the hull would be painted and attached later. Some good thought there.

I quite like having things like exhausts and such painted in the camo colours but it's your choice OP. This all looks pretty good.

If you want to bring a little life to the exhausts, start with leadbelcher, give it some gloss nuln oil to make it a little greasy looking, and if you want to go a little further, the exhaust tip can be done with three washes in this order from tip to base. Overlap them, so it blends smoothly.

It'll give a heat bloom effect, adding a little more character.
