Hey guys, going through my bits; some are from Rogue Trader and 2nd and some newer. Having played mostly SM and Nids all that time I was hoping for some clarification on these pistols.

So I know the metal arms belong to the old Kal Jerico model, I assume that is a Laspistol? ...and plastic one top-left is also a Laspistol yes?

The botton-left is from the Death Korps of Krieg Grenadiers sergeant, is that also just a Laspistol? ...and the bottom-right is from my old-old bits box, no idea what it is...

Thanks!

I agree, even if the Death Korps gun actually doesn't look anything like any other las pistol GW's ever made. Looks prime for a Han Solo conversion though..

He knows that I know and you know that he actually doesn't know the rules at all.

well it seems to have a standard las ammo pack which is why i would assume that is what it is.

FW stuff tends to be scaled a little different

Yeah, they all look like laspistols to me, of different make, except the bottom right one, which is an autopistol.

The bottom left is probably a hellpistol / hotshot laspistol. The barrel looks reminiscent of the hellguns used by the old metal Stormtroopers.

Basically, every Imperial laser weapon GW ever made (and most of the Eldar ones, too) have that same style of muzzle shroud. Apart from the super-heavy weapons on titans and the like.

Yes, all types of laspistol (except for bottom right).

1st & 2nd ed laspistol (from the metal body/plastic arms days) - imperial design
Kal Jericho laspistols
Bottom right is an autopistol.

As AndrewGPaul said, bottom left has a muzzle shroud reminiscent of the 3rd ed stormtrooper hellguns (post 2nd ed beret stormtroopers, pre-kasrkin) so could be a hellpistol - but is equally likely to be just a laspistol.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Ahh actually the hellpistol or hot-shot lasPistol makes perfect sense because he was part of the Grenadier Kit and they all have hot-shot LasGuns.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
