How do you add a scar to a models face with out damaging the model?

It's funny you ask. I just scarred a model this evening. I just took a knife and cut it, then painted and washed it, but the cut may count as damaging it. Pic below, I don't think it turned out half bad.[img]

Try liquid green stuff and make a line or patch or whatever

paint the skin as normal and glaze that area with a red for a fresh cut, purple or brown for a healed cut, green for nurgle fun time.
