Was thinking of using the scheme on the plague drones wings for Morty.

What do you guys think?

Also probably getting a good airbrush for christmas... should I wait?

Oh, that looks awesome. How'd you do it if I may ask? I'm tempted to do it on my own because I'm currently not sure what to do with them

Thanks,

It was pretty easy. Started with white primer. Then I base coated with P3 Menoth White Base, then a couple thin shades of Sepia Wash on the whole model. Followed this with a wash of Agrax Earthshade, brushing up from the tip of the wings in, then I ended with a wash of Nuln Oil on the tips. Then finally I hit the top of it with a very thin coat of P3 Underbelly Blue.

Next time im going to try out working a shade of flesh wash between the Sepia and the Earthshade for more transition.

Post a pic of how that turns out for me. I'm sort of too scared to start mine haha

I like it.

I primed the wings white on mine. Then did a sepia wash covering 1/3 of the wings with the heaviest part near the edges like yours. The I did another sepia wash covering the whole thing.

I was debating on whether to do a third sepia around half the edges of the holes in the wings but I’m not sure about that. Or, I might do a very light drybrush of screaming skull closer to the tops of them... decisions decisions.
