Hey mates. Managed to get my hands on a large-sized Valhallan Ice Warriors Army and so far I am set when it comes to utilizing basic Infantry Squads, Hvy. Weapon Teams, and a number of Special Weapons to go with it. With that being the case, a large part of what I was hoping to do was to be able to field a Storm Trooper list utilizing the Militarum Tempestus Doctrine along with the good old Taurox Prime. Needles to say, while I could use the Scion models, I am open to trying to find other models or conversions to utilize to make them more similar to the standard Valhallan Infantry models, so if anyone has any suggestions or ideas I am open to hearing them. One idea that I have debated already is the use of the Anvil Industries models to do a conversion, with this model setting the basic idea to utilize. Your thoughts and I appreciate the feedback.

Mad Robot, Victoria Minis and Anvil Industries should be your go-to's for any IG project!

Your thread title reminded me of some Russian chap who sculpted some pretty cool Valhallan stormtrooper models a few years back... I doubt they were ever produced in any great quantities but as an idea for what you are looking to do, here ya go...

For some strange reason i really like the second guy's helmet design! The third trooper is something slightly different to the accepted greatcoated Valhallan aesthetic of course but it's still a pretty good concept and wouldn't look out of place next to your regular grunts...

But anyways, the look of the first 2 models could be very easily recreated using bits from any of the 3 aforementioned great companies, good luck!

In addition to the balaclavas, Mad Robot also has 'ballistic helmets' if you like the k6-3/altyn style

I use Pig Iron heads on Kasrkin, though those have become inconvenient to acquire...

By the way, starting around pg260 or so this is a great inspiration for winter guard
