I did the light conversions and my buddy painted these up. Khorne and Abaddon coming along soon. It’s a good week

This is a great idea. If I had one comment it would be that I'd like to see the eagles on the front removed or corrupted in some way.

I may yet go back and do that and just re touch the paint. Tzeentch is easy (tzaangor heads) and Khorne with a bloodletter head is kind of like a homage to a Harley Davidson, though a winged skull head isn’t very “Khorne”.

Nurgle, though, I don’t really want to just have a nurgling popping out, as that makes little sense.

Maybe some day I’ll bend plague drone wings on top of the eagle wings and throw a plague drone face on the front, but that’d be a pretty major conversion.

The other reason why I went a little light on converting the bikes (in addition to it being easier) is because I like them being instantly recognizeable. The riders are corrupted but they’re still using the false emperor’s tech. Insult to injury and whatnot.

As "custodes" - WHY?

Oooo, I do love some good corrupting of Imperial toys! Very nice jetbike conversions.

Shame we didn't get to see some corrupting of the actual Custodes models.

They are literally custodes legs and arms. The only chaos bits are heads and torsos (from FW terminator upgrade sprues or the actual GW kit for TS terminators. Couldn't bring myself to get an entire squad of those cool new FW TS terminators just for 4 torsos)

They're fallen Custodes. Everybody said GK could never fall. My nurgle terminator squad disagrees. Custodes can never fall? LAWYERED.

I jest of course, but as a perennial hater of the false emperor, it does make me chuckle seeing people's eyes pop out when the untouchable fall. Also I use them in game with Custodes rules. Call them whatever you will.
