Hey guys! Firechicken23 here, I don't post often, but I did want to show off this paint job I did, I am pretty new to the whole painting thing, so my colors are limited currently. I am pretty proud of this regardless haha. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, C&C welcome and appreciated .

Looks pretty tidy. Suggest you post bigger pictures as the small ones are hard to critique.

Looks good. Pretty mean looking hombre there! I'm not an uber painter but for what it's worth, I think the base needs a little pop. An edge highlight on the piece he stands on would do well, maybe just a drybrush against it? Thanks for sharing! Sounds like you had a good time with this guy.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Looks good for being new. Check out youtube videos on drybrush and using the shade paints from GW. You can start with 2 shade colors. Nuln oil for metal (guns, tracks, etc) shading and agrax earthshade for almost everything else. Work up from there as you learn to use/gain more colors. Using the shade colors and drybrushing will make all those little details pop out and makes a world of difference.

I'd add one more 2 more shades to the starter group. Seraphim Sepia for anything cloth/ leather/ gold. Reikland Flesh for Skin. If you plan on doing something that is going to have a raw meat look then Baal Red might be worth a grab as well. However, I'd definitely recommend the first 2 I listed.
