Anyone have clever ideas for an alternative maulerfiend miniature? Something very alternative, I don't like any part of the model. Something that would represent then large size, 10" movement, 4 d12 attacks and 6 s6 attacks, plus the demonic invulnerable save and wound regeneration.

Part of me would like to see something completely demonic (fleshy), like something resembling a wingless dragon. Or a giant chaos spawn.

I don't know. I'm up for any suggestion because I just really dislike the actual model.

That thing is very cool, but I don't know if it's a good fit. Looks pretty Tau, but perhaps that's just the color scheme. Maybe I could chaos it up.

Yeah I checked Mierce... idk. That giant bull could work, but idk. Know of any giant wolf minis? I could perhaps even do like a werewolf with some chaos mutations, maybe a claw and some tentacles.

I'm gonna assume you want something a bit Khornate based on your avatar.

Have you seen McGib's conversion of the actual Maulerfiend model into the Brazen Bull of Khorne? Makes the Maulerfiend kit look excellent all of a sudden IMO.

Yeah, I've seen it. It is very nice and I especially adore his bases. I don't want to make the same conversion he did, plus I'd have to buy 2 kits for that. Bulls are cool, but I think a wolf would be better. Khorne has the head of a wolf, or a snarling dog. I wish my Bloodthirster still looked like a bull, but a large chaos wolf would work for the maulerfiend, I think.

Yeah I saw that. It might be worth a shot. It's very plain and I'm not very good with green stuff. It says the base is 80mm and I'm worried it'll be too small.
