I think the Emperor's enemies will tremble before the might of the seventh Legion. I also think you have an incredibly coherent looking army that looks great.

Much as like the Imperial Fists as a chapter/legion I always found the bright cartoonish yellow a bit strange (the opposite of camouflage). What you've done here successfully sets the yellow in context. Mixed with the right amount of weathering, mud splatter and general wear & tear it really looks like a fighting force in the midst of combat.

An impressive collection for sure. Your transfers are very well applied and integrated, which I know can be a lot more difficult than it looks.

Looks really good! I like how the entire thing is super coherent and it really does look like they all fit together.

The drab instead of the super bright yellow is another really nice feature that turned out awesome.

Wow, thanks for all the kind words from everyone. I’m glad y’all like the yellow. I’ve been put off by the bright IF yellow as well. Came across this color by accident, it’s Baylor Brown with an Agrax Earthshade wash.

I really like the models and weathering but bases look unfinished to be honest. I think I understand what you are trying to achieve but I'd suggest adding another colour by drybrushing or weathering powders, painting the base trim in contrasting colour (even darker brown) and not allowing the basing material to spill on the base trim. There is nothing wrong with the theme itself.

That is fair criticism. I decided on the all mud early on and planned some grass patches. Green blended in too much. I tried an off white for a sharp contrast, didn’t work at all. The bases do have a lighter dry brush, it’s just hard to tell. Thanks for the compliments on the models.

I like the yellow very. Also the dirt is great. Exactly on the point. Not to intense yellow. Not to muted. Simply perfect work!
