Hi guys,

recently finished models. Monopose set, but I really enjoyed the painting. Only modification: Herr Cassius got a Reiver helmet. Hope you like them!

A nice mix of troops. Loving the White Scars biker. Your light glows are also very good. Not too over stated. And of course, that reiver helm works well on a Chaplain.

Thx!

The box itself a good choice imho. Unique armors, good loadout, etc but the biker guy is one of my favorite.

very well done overall; I think your models could be even better with the use of technical paints and dry powders, such as brush on gloss varnish on the gems/lens, dark brown powder at the feet of everyone/wheels on the bike, black powder on the gun nozzles/bike and jet pack exhaust etc.

Missed areas: why is the gun barrel size of the bolters on the bike different? You really should drill the smaller one bigger or fill the bigger one with green stuff and re-drill and retouch the paints. The heavy flamer missing gun barrel drilling and heat residue effect(which you can do by using red ink, purple ink, blue ink, from whole piece to the nozzle). I think the forceswords could be done slightly better by alternating the direction of the colors on each panel to give more contrast, going dark to light from bottom on left side and light to dark from bottom on right side.

Spoiler:

Areas of praise: subtle conversions such as the head swap on the Chaplain, color details on each marine so they're not too black, glow around the Librarian head, overall highlights on the black armor, not too shiny/silver on the deathwatch arm. Hair on the space wolf= , scribble lettering on the seals.

Nicely done. Once you add up all of the different chapter icons, there are a lot of different colors used with these guys.

THX! Yeah, the box itself helped a lot with the details and I really like fluff behind the kill teams, so that s why I picked up such a colourful scheme.

Thank you for sharing your finginds!

You are propable right regarding the powders and the gloss varnish, unfortunatelly my satin varnish gave me a mediocre result on the glossy parts. Next time I will give another try

Yeapp, the bike's gun looks a bit assymetric, during the drilling something went wrong, did not noticed so far, thx!

Powersword: still try to establis a a good technic, next time I will try another method.
