Hello all, thought I would show a couple of HQ conversions I worked on.

Number 1 is an IH “Smash” Captain. The theme here is rivets, lol. Body and hammer is stock from the MKiii marine set. Jump pack is forgeworld, MkV marine jump pack (Mkii would have worked too but I could not find it). Shield is, believe it or not, the “smaller” shield from the Imperial Guard Ogryn set. I scraped off the skull and wings and slapped on an IH icon instead.

Number 2 is a WIP, a humble tech marine. This is to show the servo arm I made, I still feel like the armor itself needs to be beefier somehow to reflect that 2+ save.

So, mkiii armor again. Servo arm itself is from a GK Dreadknignt kit (part of the silly arm bits that make the dreadknigjt look like a puppet lol), the claw part is, I believe, a couple of iron clad dreadnought claw fingers glued together. I think this beefy arm fits the aesthetic quite well.
