They look fine, and if you have questions most TO's will have a specific rule about proxies or conversions. If in doubt, you normally email them directly - only they will be able to say yes or no. It's their product, not ours.

They look like plasma rifles to me.
They FEEL stronger and should be dealing more damage or have longer range.

There is no single 'tournament standard'. You would need to check with the specific TO for the tournament you are entering.
That being said, the general litmus test is 'Is it clear what it is supposed to be?' combined with 'Does it significantly alter the model's footprint or LOS profile?'
It's just a weapon change, so the latter is fine. And the muzzle makes it fairly clear that they're supposed to be plasma guns, so you would generally be fine, particularly if they're painted differently to any lasguns in the army to help them stand out.

And what Imperial forces commonly have plasma rifles?
Gun, rifle, slingshot, peashooter, makes no difference if your forces only have one of them, and further, naming is just that when your sole choice is plasma or not plasma.
Lexicanum lists nearly 20 patterns of plasma gun, what is one more?

100% those will be fine. I have no doubt anyone would be able to question what the model is armed with as the only plasma weapons available to Guardsmen are plasma guns.
