Having a little trouble getting to grips using Lahmium medium, am in the middle of painting my start collecting orks! Set but cant seem to get the skin tone looking as smooth or as natural as i'd like. Any tips on how to use this medium would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of close ups with the thread

I don't see anything wrong with your green so far. Use a shade to darken the recesses and highlight with a shade up from that green. I see a shade on the metals at least.

Medium is used to thin paint and make it more transparent. If you're getting coverage issues that's why, medium makes the paint more transparent so you can switch shades to get gradients on cloth, skin, or folds.

If you're just starting to paint minis you're on the right track..

Hey mate, i am quite newish to painting, under a year but only spend £20 a month on either bits or paints. There was shade on it but possible using a little round the edges of the lighter layer might tie it in a bit better. I thank you for your feedback so far

are you using it for general thinning? if you are then my advice would be to not do that and just thin with water. use LM for making glazes and to work your layers when layering.
