Progressing on first model for SOB. First paint one model, settle down on colour scheme and then start working on more models. Probably in batches of 3 to keep me sane as the white armour is nightmare to paint Silly me for picking up white armour to paint...Ah well.

Flesh is pretty much not even properly started. Red parts will get at least 2 layers of highlight but need evil sun scarlet first. Metals only got base coat. Gloves and bolter casing need to figure out colour. Purity seals not done.

Hair not sold on. Might redo that one.

Base supposed to be obsidian. Followed Duncan's guide for that but not Duncan quality!

Fleur-de-lis, eagle and other such small details will be gold but as I'll be using vallejo liquid gold model needs to be 100% done and varnished before I can paint it. That colour does not like varnish.
