I am a little concerned because my girlfriend "doesnt like the white", but i already finished 2 heroes and the 3 squads.

Are the colors ok, or should I change the white to an easier to paint silver?

It seems to a bit more grey than white, isn't it? But nonetheless, it looks absolutely cool...

Looks reasonable for a quick effort, and if that's the main concern I don't see a problem with it.

Your girlfriend has a point in that the white doesn't show the same kind of color transition as the purple which has vivid, lighter areas of considerable size towards the top. This effect isn't there on the white which ends the transition from darker grey to white with a fairly muted, greyish look rather than actual white. If you wanted to get closer to the effect on the purple parts and tie the model's appearance together, more pure white on the top parts of armor pieces wouldn't go amiss.

The "white" actually is "Ulthuan Grey" (citadel colors), so yeah its not a plain white, but rather a really light grey. I guess I will first finish the minis I have left for the army, and will add highlights with a true white afterwards.

I will post some more pictures then (I am not a fast painter though).

The best "white" Sigmarines I've seen are from this guy..but it's a vastly different "darker" approach....more akin to ThirdEyeNuke style stuff.
