Quite an accomplishment for me, my first completed piece.
Tips and pointers on highlighting, little details, and painting the faces are very welcome!

Looks really good, well done.

Maybe dry brush the hair really gently with a lighter colour to give it more texture.

Yes! I'm still learning how to dry brush. Would that help with the face? I would like her to not look so zombie-ish lol

That is a great start. Highlights on metallic armor are very advanced, so I'm not sure that is worth it at this time.

the only solution for the face is to go back in with a highlight to turn it back into a more lively flesh color. light applications on the cheeks, forehead chin, nose and lips. This is not easy, takes brush control, and your color needs to basically be a shade of your face's current dark wash. Eyes also add a lot but they are not an easy task. There are tutorials about showing different ways. I go in with white, add a black dot with a tiny brush, then clean up around eyes with an appropriate skin tone or even black if you imagine any kind of eyeliner or even lashes. This is not easy, and some turtorials (by very good painters) do it in the reverse (black first them white dots on either side of black).

I also second a very light drybrush on the hair (and by light I mean take your brush and wipe almost all of the paint off on napkin before rubbing edges crosswise along hair details.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

A bit of dry brushing would make the hair look more natural by highlighting some of the upper edges.

Skin is tricky. I would suggest looking at some of the YouTube tutorials.

Welcome! Stellar first model, and not an easy one to paint. Loads of detail.

For your first model it's not bad you have potential to paint to a good standard but your problem is simply the method and that you don't know what you're doing. The face is pretty awful unless she's some kind of marge Simpson hybrid conversion that you haven't told us about.
