This is my first go converting things into terrain was hoping to get some c&c on the possible construction. I was going for a container look.

I'm so confused. Is it upside down? Or is it the right way up and your house is upside down? Why are there happy animals looking out the windows?

Yeah I don't understand why they posted upside down. They were part of a game that we had, but all the pieces got lost. I haven't primed it yet.

Ah right. I quite enjoyed how odd it made the whole thing.

The images are upside down until you click on them then they load the right way up. It doesn't to me as well when I upload large images off my phone.

Were the pics taken on an iPhone? Dakka's image handling has an odd conflict with the apple picture format, and can't read the part in the image code that says which way the pic should be oriented. So if you took the pic with the phone upside down, that's how the pics will display, even though they'll show as upright on your phone.

If you open the pic in an image editor, make some minor change (crop it, adjust the brightness slightly, or just hit 'rotate' and then reverse it) and then save it, it saves the image data correctly so the forum can interpret it.

I have an android I will look at editing and re-upload them. Looks like that did the trick, I will just need to make sure to crop/edit them before submitting thanks for the tip.

Interesting choices. I like them for containers since they already have some basic details that make them look more like it. I'm not sure about the scale without a reference, but if you put them right side up as they were originally intended, they might look like oversized containers with small doors. I'm curious to see how they come out, partly because I'm planning on making my first homemade terrain soon myself.

I hadn't thought of putting a guy next to them for reference, after looking they may be too big. The issue with having them the other way is they didn't have a lid for them. Here is a picture for reference, maybe a workshop? Was picturing the door section as being a fold out idea.
