									Hi all,

I am painting some World Eaters Rhinos. I'm chipping the hulls (using both Vallejo Chipping Fluid and salt chipping). This is my first time using this method and it seemed to come out OK.

I also want to try my hand at freehand art on the top hatches, which will also need to be heavily distressed, like the rest of the tank.

So what approach should I take?

Option 1: paint as normal, and then chip using only painting techniques over the banner; or
Option 2: apply chipping fluid, then paint the banner, then add water and chip away.

My concern with Option 2 is that painting freehand is going to take several days. Will I be able to reactivate the chipping fluid after over a week?

  Thanks in advance.
