So my experience with Season 2 is almost exclusively with Snotlings with a few odd games with other races.

But I have to say Stars seem to be both readily available (my snotlings have a choice of 10) and very good for their price. Take for example Varag (and I often do).
For 200k more than a Blitzer I swap Animosity for Loner (4+) and get Str, Str, Primary - Mighty Blow, Thick Skull, Secondary - Jump up, and get the one off ability (and at some point suffered an injury so passing is 5+). Assuming some luck but not all random rolls a minimum of 92SPP and 240k with the one off skill. Mercs and the like cost more than normal, but a star costs less?

I an eternal, very developed league that has its own stars built in teams they would have less impact, but in tournies and shorter leagues if you can take them why wouldn't you?

Not sure if you saw, but a lot of the more problematic Star Players got adjustments to their costs just a short while ago.

Because you weren't alone in feeling like Star Players were a bit too cheap.

I believe 2? stars (and they were the best ones) went up by 30k each. So now I can still get them, just with one less bribe or babe.

So Hakflem is 210k
Morg is now 380k.

But I still get great use from Varag or Glart at a pinch.

And tempted to try Kreek (move 5, str 7, Ball & Chain), for 320k with 3 bribes.
