After doing some research, I learned that the precursors to the Drukhari Scourges have been around for a very long time in-universe.
I am gradually expanding my rogues' gallery of NPCs to spice up special campaign missions in 30k, and I figured these are a good candidate. I could find no depiction of what the Solar Cults look like, but as they developed into Scourges (and indeed the grafted Scourge wings was explicitly inherited from a Cult practice), I used the Scourge models as a starting point.
Then, seeing as "Drukhari" proper do not exist yet by the Heresy, I avoided anything that looks poisonous (as they have not started raiding for torture slaves yet) and also eschewed heavy weapons as they would not have the same derision towards getting up close and risking harm to their expensive bodies as Scourges do.
What do you think? It's a very rough unit, mostly just contrast and drybrushing (please don't look too closely at those bat wings). But it was pretty fun and I thought it was worth showing off, as I think the colour scheme I settled on has teeth worth refining.
