Having now seen the image lain flat... the head bothers me a great deal less than the legs, which are weirdly proportioned.

Swing and a miss imo.

Yeah the proportions are still pretty off. I did think that a warped flyer can only have caused so much of it.

Not sure why the Ventanus rumours even started. Looks nothing like the artwork, the hair is the wrong colour as he's blond like Guilliman and why would the leader of the 4th also be their standard bearer. Just baffles me how these things snowball.

Like others have said though, I'll reserve judgement until I see the unpainted resin

Yes, some of the limited editions have been beautiful, the FW event only stuff for example, others, especially this one, feel like rejected works that then someone said 'well, we should get some use out of it somehow'.

I usually try to get all the limited models... but god this thing makes me want to vomit.

Strike 1: ultramarine molded symbols
Strike 2: ...that....face
Strike 3: Massive diabetic legs, fat hips, beer gut, tiny shoulders

I think this guy needs to go to a gym. Then he'd fit in smaller armor from his gut down, and maybe he'd fill out the shoulders better. Maybe he'd take come pride and groom his face as well.

Good lord forgeworld... you and GW are better than this!! There is no comparison between this and the recent AOS/GW plastics that have been far superior to any other gaming system's plastic kits recently. Five steps forward and twenty back.

The shoulder pads seem flattened. The torso seems too small. I really wonder if it isn't just messed up photoshopping going on here?

I'll reserve judgement until I see someone actually build one of these guys.

Lol, that's an amusing looking mini.

Maybe GW staff got tired of being teased for having "inferior" models, so they made FW release the derpiest mis-sculpt they could find that was completed.

....or this is being released so GW can be all "see, it sold horribly! This is why we don't stock FW models in GW stores."
