From the rackham newsletter released today 5 pics of some very early greens of the cogs.

Its hard to really get a good idea of what the final product will be but its still interesting to see the posing and a bit of a hint of how they will look.

For the full Gallery you can go here: Cogs Previews

Here is one of the previews, I think its the best of the set as it gives the most idea of the basic shape.

Hmmmmmmmmm ... I was ready with a change of pants on hand, but I think right now I'm just happy to see that things are happening with the Cogs.

Thanks!

Eh, why bother? I'm sure the finished things will look good, but those have to be the least interesting preview pics I've ever seen for a release for any game.

NICE.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I was really expecting more too, not sure if I am happier to see the work in progress or would have rather they waited another few weeks to show something a little more substantial.

Nice of them to let us in on the early development stages though I suppose.

I think ultimately I'll be impressed, just not yet.

I suppose this was a way of building anticipation?

Maybe, I just hope they are different enough from the Tau to avoid the inevitable comparisons. I really want AT-43 to take off as its such an excellent ruleset for tournaments!

I would love to see a full on mini game tourney scene thats just about the game.

Especially since im a sucky paitner.

For such early pics, I really like what I see! Especially if they are space slugs...Rakham has some really cool ideas, if not original ones...

There have already other images of the Cogs been posted on this forum. That´s the direction in which the mini design will go.
