in the dwarf codex it says the dwarfs owe a dept to the empire and will never fight them so will i hail grungi, valaya, grimnir, and sigmar. death to chaos.

You know how you can really honor your oath as a dwarf? Play full gunline against daemons and win. The Empire's having some hard time with the Daemons this edition.

yeah i saw my friend get slautered but i could not help him got to the store to late thorek could have helped.

Just don't take gunlines vs anyone else.... daemon players deserve it. Very few other do though, as all it proves is that you can roll dice.

hehe--so true! In fact, I'm finding that I can only beat my friend who plays Daemons with my gunline dwarfs (backed by a BSB/Lord in a unit of 20 Ironbreakers or Hammerers) - compared with my Elves, who just can't do a damned thing against him (I get lucky sometimes, and a BSB/PRince combo in a unit of 25 White Lions backed by two units of 10 Swordmasters works--but that takes a lot of work to set up properly, and after the first two times I tried that successfully, he obviously learned to stay the hell away from that unit, or else hit it with EVERYTHING (including his unit of 12 Bloodcrushers, BT, Keeper, Daemon Prince).
