This thought has been haunting me these past few weeks, and I finally thought I'd post about it.

Many times it seems as if the internet is a scarily good philosophical match to the concept of Warp / immaterium of 40K. People's conscious and unconscious emotions flow freely, corrupting some, granting power to others.. Am I just nuts? hehehe

It's all too easy to witness Khorne, Slaanesh and Tzeentch vibes online.. and if Nugle contaminates and aims to create dispair, well even that stuff isnt all that hard to find..

When 40k and the warp were first drafted, the internet was a completely different realm then it is today.

I do agree that you could draw a lot of parallels between them though.
