I wanted to test how stormcast heads would work for female Custodes conversions, and I had a Blade Champion still in the blister, so I put that together with a head from the push-fit vindicator kit. also took this as an opportunity to try painting eyes, which I usually don't do (I think the results are mixed but entirely tolerable). I also tried some edge highlighting for the green to brighten up the model, since I haven't tried a lot of edge highlighting at infantry scale yet (to much better results)

and here she is next to my other Blade Champion

Indeed!

I'm hoping to do a whole army like that, so I'm trying to find a good source heads. So far, a lot of them have seemed a little small...

while i was working on this, i tried out a bunch of other heads i had in my collection (which were mostly sisters), and as expected those were definitely too small

i'm still going to make most of my models be unhelmeted, but for a full army like this, turning to 3d printing is probably the best bet unless you have local stormcast players with deep bits boxes

Looks the ticket.

Blue stuff can be used to make copies of almost anything and its easy to use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-YhF-xsB0M I use milliput, but green stuff works really well.
