After painting countless of my Sisters and Inquisitor Retinues i felt that i wanted to paint something new. So i asked my friend if i could paint a Ultramarine of his.
He gave me the option between a Captain with a lightning claw and a Chaplain in Termie armor, ofc i went for the chaplain cause the model looks so awesome.

Well now im done and i wanted to hear what you guys think, can i hand this over without getting a new task that includes a can of black primer? :S

Had some problems with the "parchment" hanging from his genitalia...




Had some problems with the back "parchment" aswell, chains and stuff in the way...


Painted one shoulderpad blue since he is a Ultramarine, dunno what the fluff says about that though...


Anything i can improve before handing it over to him?

Looks good to me. nice clean work.

On mine I left his right sholderpad black but hey I was playing black templar at the time. so go figure....

Nice - I love the new Chaplain terminator model and you've done a nice job with it. As far as the blue shoulderpad goes, it used to be common for the chaplain's shoulder pad to be painted in the same way as his chapter, but over time that's become less of an absolute standard.

I like the blue shoulderpad. I think it's fitting for a Chaplain to have a splash of colour from his chapter in there.

Im not gonna do anything except maybe add some bitz, im gonna let my friend do the base so it fits the rest of his 8000pts of Ultramarines

I like the Iron Halo, maybe a bit of Green Stuff work to bring the base down to his chest/neck plate perhaps?

Good work though, the Termi Chaplain has to be my favourite SM model at the moment!

It goes all the way down ,but it doesnt show on the picture... hehe had to go look at the model

use some color on ur guy so it looks better. the colors dont really go together
